We have emerged as one of the world's leading economies and are recognized as a premiere modern democracy. Only the other day, Tony Blair stated that our nation is destined for greater things. We have an obligation to our allies, neighbours and the world in general to conduct ourselves as a responsible nation and demonstrate that we are "self-policing" on this matter.
