Flights added to MB's roster
Southern Skyways, an Atlanta-based company, plans to fly direct between Myrtle Beach and a slew of new cities this summer. The stops announced Wednesday are the Tri-Cities, Tenn.; Rockford, Ill.; Akron/Canton and Dayton, Ohio; and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pa.
Southern Skyways started flying to Charleston, W.Va., last year and will continue to do so. Last week, the company also said it would fly to Bridgeport, W.Va., from Myrtle Beach.
Flights will cost between $59 and $139 each way. They will begin the week of May 21 and run through Labor Day.
The company plans to use one airplane, a Boeing jet with up to 198 seats, to service all of the cities except Bridgeport, Evans said.
In 2007, its inaugural year, Southern Skyways initially announced it would fly from Cincinnati to Allentown, Pa., and onto Myrtle Beach, and eventually direct between the beach and Cincinnati. More>>

Galbraith's serious writings were a major influence on the Great Society programs of the Johnson administration. But that consummation that was also, with hindsight, a swan's song.
As for The McLandress Dimension itself, the writings of Mark Epernay found a place in the bibliographies of books on Galbraith. More>>
