    :37am The Australian share market leaped today after Wall Street surged overnight amid general market acceptance of the Federal Reserve's surprise interest rate cut on Tuesday. At the close, the S&P/ASX200 index was up 168.1 points, or 3.11 per cent, to 5,580.4 and the All Ordinaries lifted 160.2 points, or 2.94 per cent, to 5,605.8. On the Sydney Futures Exchange the March share price index futures contract was up 164 points, or 3.03 per cent, to 5,543 on 37,222 contracts. Bell Potter senior adviser Stuart Smith said the market had a strong day, with 'respectable' trading volumes. 'The market is strong across the board, with a couple of exceptions,' he said. 'We sort of fell over each other this morning trying to get in the queue to buy stock, so that shows there is potential pent-up demand. More>>

The reservist military personnel will help contractors and non-striking members to carry-out their daily chores. The Interim Government will then take on the challenge by the FICTU and FNA members. In the next few days the FNA striking members will receive their LETTER OF TERMINATION and in the process return “in mourning" to their home. THE INTERIM GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE COMMENDED for the excellent job it has done regarding (i) removing corrupt-inclined people; (ii) re-adjusting and re-organising organizational and governmental systems in order to close down loopholes, which include replacing sacked employees and replacing sacked board of directors; (iii)re-adjusting budgets, income and expenditure , in the simple reason to live within our means; (iv) putting in place measures to straighten out constituency and electoral boundaries; (v) progressively moving ahead reforms of government entities;(iv) carrying out census (vii) streamlining election procedures and voters education; Specifically, I applaud the Interim Administration for THEIR BOLDNESS, DECISIVENESS AND EXTRA-ORDINARY EFFORT in rooting out corrupt activities.
